Online Contact Lenses Rigid
These rigid contact lenses weren’t comfortable. They were hard and rigid and eyes usually got tired of wearing them just after few hours because they trapped the oxygen from reaching the cells in the cornea. The pupil, hence, didn’t move much with change in lighting conditions and hence that affected the vision. This also caused swelling in the eyes sometimes. Also, sometimes, if you wore lenses for longer times, the cornea would adapt itself to the shape of rigid contact lenses and hence you couldn’t revert back to using glasses very quickly. The transition period typically extended to two to three days.
