That’s when the real progress got started. ARPA contacted various experts and one of these experts, Wesley Clark, suggested a solution.
The idea was bought by ARPA and first subnet (the very first form of internet) consisting of some computers were joined together with 56kbps transmission lines was implemented and was named ARPANet. This network was implemented in December 1969. Since ARPAnet was the very first form of internet so we can call the year 1969 the year of internet’s invention.
